At DLO, customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities. That’s why we apply the same refund policy offered by industry leaders like Microsoft and Adobe.
Due to the digital nature of our products, only valid refund requests will be considered.
This policy is not intended to provide users with a free trial version. A demo version, a list of documents and a document search function with preview have been made available on the demo version so that the consumer can assess whether the product meets their needs. Please review these items before making your purchase.
As with all in-store purchases, it is the customer’s responsibility to determine if the product is suitable for them before purchasing it. If the Web App has been accessed after purchase or the desktop App has been activated, the refund request will be refused because the product will be considered as “consumed”.
Please note that the demo version has the same content and features the paid version has, except that a demo user won’t be able to print or export the documents. Therefore, the following reasons are NOT considered valid grounds for a refund:
- Any claim regarding the quality of the product/templates (customer should have reviewed the demo before buying the product)
- Any claim regarding the validity of the documents or the language used in relation to a specific jurisdiction (again, the customer must have reviewed the demo)
- Any claim pretending the product was purchased by mistake or it was not what the customer was looking for (but the product has been activated nonetheless)
- Any other claim, determine by solely, that we judge is not valid
On the other hand, below are examples of claims we do consider valid:
- Any major bug or technical issue (proven by a screenshot and verified by a Technical Support agent)
- advertised a specific document but it cannot be found in the product (proven by a screenshot)
- Duplicate orders
If you are unsatisfied with your DLO’s application purchased, please contact us within 30 days of the date of purchase.
All questions about refunds, including a detailed explanation of why you wish to cancel your order, must be sent to . We will review your request and might contact you for more information or ask you to fill a . Once your refund has been reviewed (within 72 business hours of receiving all pertinent information), we will contact you via email to let you know our decision.
Right to refuse refund request
If any documents or materials have been used in the course of actual business, we will NOT issue refunds. We reserve the right to refuse any refund request, at our own discretion, should we determine that a customer is not providing valid grounds for a refund or is abusing our refund policy.

The return policy is void in the event of fraudulent activity. Fraudulent returns are considered stolen property and a violation of U.S. and international copyright laws. Your access to the Business-in-a-Box product will be revoked if we notice that your purchase is fraudulent. In addition, we reserve the right to notify affected parties and charge any fraudster for the continued use of an unauthorized web application.
Finally, we reserve the right to disable unauthorized access and use tracking technologies to determine if our web application is being used illegally.
